System Integrator/Integration Engineer

 

Description of Qualifications

 

•       Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering or Computer Science

•       Bachelors of Science in Electrical/Mechanical or Technical plus 2 yearsof professional experience in software development or software programming OR

•       Advanced academic degree in computer engineering or computer science

•       Advanced academic degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field plus 2 years of professional experience in software development or software programming.

•       Clearance current Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.

•       Self-motivator, independent, quick learners, can meet deadlines, problem solver.

 

Requirements/Responsibilities include

 

·      Persistence to methodically work through a problem and multiple potential solutions to identify the best approach for resolving it.

·      Ability to rapidly switch focus from thinking about long-term design issues to solving an immediate application issue.

·      Effectively communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner

·      Able to work both independently and in a team environment

·      Experience with agile development methodology; development environment and can shift direction as needed

·      Knowledge of CMMI-DEV and configuration management processes and procedures

Software/Satellite Engineer

Description of Qualifications

·      Bachelors of Science in Computer Science or Bachelors of Science in Engineering in Electrical or Software or other Engineering or related Technical Degree (Note:  TMC Design will review and make an approval determination on other Engineering or related Technical Degree) or Advanced Academic degree in Computer Science or Engineering in Electrical or Software or other Engineering or related Technical Degree (Note:  TMC Design will review and make an approval determination on other Engineering or related Technical Degree)

·      Experience in-lieu of: 4 years of professional experience in software development, software programming, and/or satellite engineering

·      Software development experience in C#, C++, Objective-C, Docker, Java Script Ruby, Python, or another language using a major web framework such as Rails, Django, or Sinatra.

·      Self-motivator, who can work independently, able to learn quickly, meet deadline and demonstrate problem-solving skills

·      Experience with developer tools like git, TFS, and Visual Studio IDE, relational databases such as PostgreSQL.

·      Experience in GPU programming, CUDA, Open CL, Java, MySQL, modeling and simulation

Electrical Engineer

Full Time/ Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Description Qualifications

·      BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience, MS or PhD preferred

·      5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer

·      Have broad expertise with SATCOM networks (MSS, BSS, TDMA) and RF theory and application

·      Have experience with development and time constraints, DoD compliance and capability assurance

·      Detailed knowledge of electrical engineering theory and practical applications

SATCOM Technician

Full Time/ Location: Colorado Springs CO

  Applicant must be able to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair system components.  Applicant must take direction from Subject Matter Expert’s (SME) or Technical Lead to support all SATCOM mission requirements.  Must provide basic system services in the areas of maintenance, testing, software, operations, logistics, and installation and perform other duties as assigned.  Must be knowledgeable in cable manufacturing, soldering and PCB integration.  Provide computer programming services, facilities support services, system and other duties as assigned.    

 This position is full-time and requires an associate’s degree or six years of relevant experience.

Electronics Technician I

Full Time/ Location: Las Cruces NM

  Electronics Technician’s work under general direction, applying their skills and expertise to assemble and integrate TMC Design products.  Responsibilities include assembly and test of TMC Design products, soldering, cable assembly, and trouble-shooting and system integration. 

  This position is full-time and requires Bachelors in Science in Electrical Engineering Technology with 2 years of relevant experience.  The application must have soldering and cable fabrication experience with the ability to solder circuit boards per J-STD-001 and travel 10% of time.  Experience with computer and typing skills and ability to use Microsoft Windows, Internet Explorer, Excel, and Word.  Applicant must be highly motivated self-starter capable of working independently and within group settings.  Well-organized and be able to multi-task with good verbal/written communication.  Experience with electronic test equipment and ability to use hand tools and small power tools.  Must be able to read and understand technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions.  Must be able to pass TMC Design Soldering Test and assist with technical troubleshooting and train other technical-level employees.
